  1. DCB: With each post, you actually manage to sound even dumber, which is hard for you. A few things:

    – Yes, I play with clay all the time. I love it. I have fun sculpting on my own (currently working on a bust of a real human subject, something I haven’t done and wanted to try) and my kids love doing claymation with me. Do you have anything you enjoy doing or do you just sit around worrying about how much fat is on your woman’s body? What do you choose to do with your time when you’re not working? And what exactly did you think you were establishing by saying I’m an “adult who spends his day playing with clay?” Is that a meaningful insult in your world?

    – Do you really think I was making a serious proposal with the carbon discussion rather than just getting into a debate for the fun of it to see how people would respond? That’s just a complete reading comprehension failure. In any event, you never offered anything substantive other than to make an occasional comment about how stupid you thought I was (as an aside I am quite comfortable with how I stack up against you in thar regard; feel free to poll the rest of the regulars here if you wish to get an independent view).

    – And with the tax discussion: again, do you understand the issues or is the extent of your contribution to sit on the sidelines picking your nose and saying how stupid you think something is? Do you have a critique of what I said or are you just going to keep saying it’s “stupid?” Do you even understand what I said? There are some very smart people here who often disagree with me and voice their disagreement quite well (slopefarm, Montrose, Arkady, just to name a few – there are plenty of others). What makes you completely useless here is that all you do is call people stupid without demonstrating that you have even an ounce of credibility yourself.

    – What do I bring to the table? I call it like I see it (for better or worse), I’m irreverant and sometimes even funny, and I love talking about ideas in open forum. I’m certainly not going to win any popularity contests around here because I get nasty with just about everyone on occasion, but I’m pretty comfortable saying that’s what I bring to the table.

So I ask you again – other than calling people stupid and demonstrating what a superficial douche bag you are, why do you continue to use up oxygen?

  2. Big Congrats, benson!

Biff, please pass the popcorn. And if you got stretchy pants, you wouldn’t need to trouble yourself with unbuttoning a button — learned that trick from Frank Barone on “Everybody Loves Raymond”.

As an Italian male, I bring nothing to the table. I come to be served – preferably meatballs.

how about if they’re imported meatballs which like most imports are “Made in China”?
