M4L, don’t know if you are still there, but when I was a kid, my best friend was Chinese. Her family bought a new house and they had a party to celebrate and I was invited. It was traumatic. I was 11 or so and nothing seemed even remotely like anything I had ever eaten before. When they said do you like chicken, I was so happy because I had eaten chicken before, but it turned out to be something, ahem, pretty different from what I knew as chicken. I didn’t eat Chinese food again until I was 18!!!
DIBS, we should drag Pete out for lunch at grand szechuen one of these Friday’s. I can also take you to that Flushing Queens place on the weekend you’re around
Unless Biff can harvest it more quickly, Dave, it’s one of the threads I’m gathering to send my non-blog friend who’s come out with us a couple of times as a “must read”. (And, Biff, she really needs a blog name.)

“Yeah, I really don’t see going to a Chinese restaurant with Snappy being an enjoyable experience.”
Actually, Dave, I’ve had Chinese with Snappy twice, and, after she has inspected the kitchen to her satisfaction, we had very nice dinners.
Have we slammed the lid on these washer puns yet?

Snappy, with your picky food requirements, be more clear. It’s CHINESE food without the blah blah blah blah….. and then is edible for you

“got me thinking is my load clean”
Where do I start?
Biff, given the pun fest, had to throw in some raunch into my semi-serious question
