  1. …look at it this way,

if teeth were meant to stay there forever,
they wouldn’t have invented gummy bears.

on the topic of rite aid/duane reade/cvs cashiers,
I think they must take a course in stupid.
just say hi, ring up the surgilubedenturecream and take the money.
    is that so difficult?

if you can’t bear to engage in basic civility,
then get a job as a phlebotomist or something.
at least then you can jab people with a sharp object
for a living and bleed them with a smile.

  2. Were the teeth infected MM? wow that’s a lot of teeth. I had a shady vet once in chelsea who tried to convince me my dog needed an expensive root canal. *I* needed an expensive root canal at the time as well and I was a bit torn on the issue.. i chose to delay his root canal and when I found a new vet they basically told me it was absurd that the other vet even suggested such a thing!!

It’s so easy to get taken advantage of out of your hard earned money in this city, you see it go down every day, hundreds of times right before your very eyes, at least i do anyway..

    *rob*

  3. And apropos of my rant against slow walkers yesterday. I should say that the reason I get stuck behind them is because I’m a gentleman, and I always let the slow women walkers go first – through the door, into/out of the elevator, down the stairs, etc. This just cost me a long elevator wait. By the time the woman I was letting go into the elevator ahead of me finally started to advance toward the open elevator, the doors slammed closed on both of us. Aaaargh!!! And Grrrr!!!

  4. Just made the mistake of going outside for a few minutes.

Biff, bad service is not unique to CVS. Must be a pharmacy union rule. Lines out the door at Rite Aid. Cashiers seem to be ignoring the customers to talk to each other.
