  1. Fred Trump! Ha!
    People I know in Bay Ridge knew him, evidently he was nothing like the Donald.
    Well, I am off to make dinner now.
    Benson, I bought (without bank financing) a pair of Kobe Steaks (admiteddly from Texas, I think) and a bottle of a very promising sirah from Napa.
    Toasting the Presidents and the wonderful day off they have made possible. g’night all.

    Samuel

  2. Buckfast;

    Correction: they are called Beach Haven apartments. Shorehaven is further along the belt parkway:

    How can you not have heard of this name? Google “Beach Haven Apartments”, and see what you find. I don’t believe that you lived there, and I don’t believe that you lived in the CI projects.

  3. Buckfast;

    It is a single complex. The name of it is Shorehaven (as the signs there say all over the place), and it is managed by the Trump family (not Donald Trump, but his father’s organization, Fred Trump).

  4. Especially if those people are coming out of a PJ where there was probably a crime. If there was no “roughing up” or other brutality then let it go.

    My apologies to MrsCWB. C’est la vie. Good thing Pierre de taille isn’t here today. However, you assumed I was referring to france and not our closer allies GB. Classic inferiority complex 🙂 🙂 🙂

    Sorry about the roguefort thing. We’re all losers there.

  5. DIBS – I’m sure MrsCWB would take offense to that! 🙂

    Also, I don’t think cops profiling people and being abusive jerks – in this city or in any other – is a particularly huge newsflash

  6. hunting for something, they were both smashed up pretty good. Somehow they didn’t sink with theit nuclear warheads or, oopsie!, let one rip in the direction of Wall Street, but there must have been something there. It took the French sub three days to limp back to harbor, it must have been way way out there.
