Having just spent the better part of 3 days stripping & re-sealing my wood deck (as I do almost every spring & fall) I understand the desire for concrete replicas.
Arkady, dibs, your comments the other day about my backyard were very helpful. I was back there today and I have a design for a “French drain” which involves removal of a strip of bricks. I think it will solve my problem.
The wood planks warp and need to be bolted down and get weathered and split. You should see the ones in Coney Island that are there now. They are a disaster, with bolts sticking up and in horrible condition. The concrete strips are designed to look like the wood. They actually look very nice.
You, too, DIBS, enjoy!
Adios all. Have a good weekend.
“Mr. Hayward “is now handing over the operations, the daily operations, to Bob Dudley.—
I guess he just got his life back.
How are all my fav asshats?
Just got back after being away from my computer for a while – thanks to all for the great suggestions. Especially Rob!
