Legion, regarding your hair holding strong, you are shifting the style as we speak — one minute Casanova with brilliantined waves across the forehead, the next minute Alfalfa with a giant cowlick.
Regarding your expansive imaginings of the future universe:
In the not too distant future,
scientists will have the capablilities to merge
organic cellular structures with silicon structures.
It’s already being done to a limited extent.
You are right, it is already being done — every morning, I merge my high maintenance hair with silicone gel and get something very different.
:-/ actually i read tracy lords autobiography, underneath is all i think it’s called. it was really good. she had a pretty f’ed up childhood, but she wound up doing well for herself in the end.
Did anyone see Wine Lover’s rant about Park Slope yesterday? He had some pretty funny lines in it. One of them was something like “How many times are you going to go to Al di La for beet raviolis”? He also talked about the “frumpy frump” women.
It is Biff. And you should’ve seen it pre-reno: a white Garden State Brickface & Stucco facade, no dormers, no chimneys, no landscaping. That said, I wouldn’t pay $7 million for that layout on that corner.
there’s also a new restaurant off Union;
La De Di, it caters to Euros or people who aspire to be.
