Hi, first time poster here. I just retired at 65 and am looking for the best neighborhood in Brooklyn to spend my senior years. All of my friends say Brooklyn Heights is where I will find a lot of like minded (and aged) people. Any thoughts? Are there lots of geriatric services? What about loud parties and the like? Not to sound my age, but I would rather not hear that sort of thing all the time. Thanks in advance for your replies.

Jack, not to sound forward, but are you a widower, by chance?

Jack, BH is a picture-pretty, delightfully serene community with a demographic that skews well-to-do “older.â€
It’s also almost entirely without a pulse. Consider it a suburb within a city. If this sounds “right†to you…..

“suburb within a city†— how about a nursing home within a city. Even those below retirement age are premature old.

God found Brooklyn Heights too perfect, and that’s why he made Brooklyn Heights residents.

Effity eff eff eff, I can’t believe I’m still blocked from seeing THAT blog.
cobble, what were you doing in midtown and why didn’t you stop by my office?????????
” And without Cobble?”
I’m here, I’m here, I survived my jaunt to midtown.
What’s happening here! Are you guys really back on over there?! I wanna SEEE!
Is Homer frantically emailing Mr. B, saying DO SOMETHING ABOUT THOSE BRATS!? LOL!
“I figure around 4 or 5 of them were from infiltrating PLUSAs”
Biff, I think your estimate is conservative.
And can I just say that some people over there >>> post long rants that make *rob*’s rants look succinct!
Is Rob’s graffiti autoeroticist influenced? he did say something about painting his stick.
AEB was one of the curmudgeonly complainers last week. Hardly surprising he couldn’t detect the humour in Jack’s and JoJo’s posts.
“it probably spreads quickly when lubricated”
Raunch Hour so early? And without Cobble?
