As I was posting my 10th or so post on the Brooklyn Heights Blog OT, I got this message:

DIBS, dont be a hero to try to safe the whole health system by not going. if doc confirms that’s all you got is a common viral flu, etc, you can skip the meds but at least he’ll confirm what you got (vs. it being something else)

My comments are not posting on BK heights blog and the blog is ahead of it’s time. Do people who post on BK Heights blog see into the future or something?
Go to the doctor for a cough, a flu??? Come on. Really??? This is why our whole medical system is out of wack…and you’re doing yourself no service if you take antibiotics for every small cough or runny nose.
Most of them are viral anyway and people don’t understand that antibiotics aren’t effective against a virus.
Rob, I think you should see a doctor, you’re being entirely too reasonable today. There might be something wrong.
