last night hubby reported that one tub of Edy’s from the upper east side Food Emporium cost $9. WTF!
you know why right? it’s cuz they can get away with it. it’s because of idiotic people who get away with selling 20 dollar a scoop organic crap, so of course the low brow brands are gonna up their prices too. this whole organic movement needs to be stopped dead in its tracks. like susan powter used to say, STOP THE INSANITY!
Oooooh, Cranberry Street. That still seems steep for an empty lot, no? How much would contruction costs be for a luxury 2 family? Only $500k? No, must be more…

Not only that. Did you notice how Edy’s actually made the size of the tub noticeably smaller around two years ago? I used to be able to get two tubs of Baskin Robbins ice cream on the UES for $6. That was a great deal.
Rob, I hope you win the lotto soon so I can see if you would stash or splash that cash.

Benson – Which school did your daughter graduate from? Eugene Lang? Or?
The big test of your ultra-leftist tolerance is if she pursues a graduate degree in the flagship… The New School for Social Research!!
Biff, those empty lots by CGar are 50% cheaper so we can buy 2 lots and build a big pool with the big water slide, etc.
We could just put up a lot of tents.
Biff, for that price we can get two houses in Bed Stuy and have enough money left over for 5 years of car service for all the PLUSAs.
No need to renovate if these are being used for parties…just needs a working bathroom.
