  1. No, Legion, not answered. If your main point in your comment at 1:17 is that radical Islamists were behind 9/11 and therefore an opening of a Mosque on 9/11 at or near Ground Zero automatically makes those opening the Mosque radical Islamists, then answer the question and just come out and say it. I’m trying to find a way in my mind (and I don’t know why) that you would not be judging this particular group of folks based on what others did. But if that is what you are saying, then say it.

  2. MM,
this is to answer you directly,

what happened to the Christian coptics in Egypt?
some of my wife’s family are from Syria.

    or the jews in Iraq?
I know a jewish doctor who had to escape from Iraq.

why is Islam at war with
    Hindus
    Christians
    Jews
    Bhuddists
    Muslims themselves?

  3. Legion,
You are not a smart person. How exactly am I equivocating, vacillating and dissembling?!

I feel like I should just repost my questions to you.

    Legion —
While I know you enjoy posting these examples of Islamist intolerance…. Do you REALLY not see a distinction between fundamentalists and people of faith?!

What about the regular acts of intolerance by Christian fundamentalists? (That, YES, many times involve acts of violence as a group.) Is there no distinction between these folks and the old ladies that make tea at the Congregationalist Church in Mystic, CT?

Is there NO way that the Muslims opening this mosque and COMMUNITY CENTER are good, proud Americans?

  4. “…hell, a woman journalist can’t even
walk around those places without a
    head covering.

    why?”

Because to do so is considered disrespectful in their culture. I don’t necessarily agree with it, but really there’s nothing wrong with that.

This is EXACTLY the problem. The problem is that the country is run with an INTOLERANT Sharia Law and not secular laws. There is then an intolerance for ANYTHING non-Muslim. This is just the sort of thing that Turkey is trying so desperately to avoid.

Why should a woman have to cover her head just becaues some people find it offensive??? This is not secular law, it’s religious intolerance that dates back thousands of years and hinges upon persecution of women.

  5. tybur6,

now I’ve given you historical references and more modern references to the “islamic” agenda.

    around the globe,
and I can continue with references to India, Russia and South East Asia.

Do I really need to spoon feed you?
    perhaps I do.

    so let’s connect the dots,
we have a radicalized part of Islam which is attempting in manners covert and overt to spread the word of god, other religions be damned.
an turning point in this struggle was 9/11/01.

now we have a mosque set to open on that ground 10 years after that event.
without regards for the community and the city which still bears the scar of that date in which 19 radical “islamists” shouted allah ahkbar and killed 3000.

and you seek to equivocate and vacillate and dissemble in view of this clear logic.

I have to ask why you would be so narrow minded in your inability to see the irony?
