If your main point in your comment at 1:17 is that radical Islamists were behind 9/11 and therefore an opening of a Mosque on 9/11 at or near Ground Zero automatically makes those opening the Mosque radical Islamists, then answer the question and just come out and say it. I’m trying to find a way in my mind (and I don’t know why) that you would not be judging this particular group of folks based on what others did. But if that is what you are saying, then say it.

What about the regular acts of intolerance by Christian fundamentalists? (That, YES, many times involve acts of violence as a group.) Is there no distinction between these folks and the old ladies that make tea at the Congregationalist Church in Mystic, CT?

This is EXACTLY the problem. The problem is that the country is run with an INTOLERANT Sharia Law and not secular laws. There is then an intolerance for ANYTHING non-Muslim. This is just the sort of thing that Turkey is trying so desperately to avoid.
