Sellers did not think much of my lowball bid for their house.
I don’t think much of their delusional asking price – higher than any house (even nicer ones) has ever sold for on that block. Contemplating my next move – raise my bid, or wait for the sellers to stew a little first.
I’m not a big fan of Ayn Rand’s ideas either.
I reach some similar conclusions some of the time but by a very different route!

I used to live near a sugar refinery in London that often had a distinctive smell.
Don’t think that was the cause of the NYC maple syrup smell but it was something fairly similar (bakery in NJ??).
