That’s awesome, I didn’t know you were a lecturer as well.
There’s sure alot to talk about given the recent extremism involved with the Mohammed cartoons and South Park.
Perhaps as petebklyn said earlier, civility and respect were always a myth. Hard to argue with, given human history, but I definitely see an acceleration in pushing the limits of once sacred subjects. Over the short term, that’s bound to cause severe friction.
Re offering pregnant women seats on the train: I always offer and I have trained my daughter to do the same. A few have told us that it’s too hard to hoist themselves up when they get off; easier to stand.
“Denton, were you heading east or west? Heading west, there are lots of streets you can’t make a left turn onto. Heading East I’m not so sure.”
