I found a place to live! It’s one block from where I live now. It ain’t bad at all… actually pretty great.
The only ‘snag’ is that it’s in a very picky co-op building that requires a crazy amount of paperwork, letters of reference from a million people, absurd amounts of financial disclosures, etc etc etc. All to rent an apartment! I think they may even have a board interview.
So, if all goes well, I’ll have a new place to live on June 1st. If not, I’ll be homeless on June 1st.
