I liked the woman who said in the NYT a while ago she has just two questions for a prospective date: Do you have a library card, and do you have a passport.
Naive, perhaps, attempting to see the positive, definitley, dumb, not so much What. If the new tax assessments brought on by the BID were so brutal why is that since the BID has been launched there has been a massive increase in the number of businesses leasing space on Fulton, at least between Washington and Classon?
People who say they are “high maintenance” are immediate drops. Immediate.
Ditto. I also have an absolute 65-35 rule. I am willing to listen versus talk for a MAXIMUM 65% of the time (which is the high side) but have to speak and be listened to at least 35% of the time. This is to eliminate the total narcissistic gasbag. On the other hand, I am comfortable doing up to 65% of the talking — the guys got to have something to say.
Men suck. And so do women…if you’re lucky 🙂
“Do you have a library card, and do you have a passport.”
Those are good questions, you can get quite a bit of info about a person from that. [Assuming they actually use them.]
“kid’s gonna be gay!”
– you should be so lucky!
“I hope it’s a boy.”
So do I. So I can raise it to be sensitive to other people’s needs and feelings.”
What for?
“Funny, I’ve heard quite the contrary.”
Never believe what you hear on the internet.
