HELP! i’d post this in the forum but my forum posts never get added..
i have some sort of critter invading my bedroom!!!! my room is along a back alleyway that has tons of cats and squirrels always in it driving duke bonkers.. anyway, one is trying to get into my room! there are bars on the window, but on top of one window is a space for an AC. i never took the ac out this winter cuz it’s a p.i.t.a. above the ac there is a ton of room and no screen for it so you need to put something there like plywood or plastic or something. being the idiot that i am i decided to fill the space with two faux fur water buffalo throw pillows.
the last few weeks i keep seeing some of the stuffing falling down on my windowsill. it didnt bother me but it has been getting worse, anyway this morning there’s a TON of stuffing on the sill and on my floor.. im thinking this is not good.. but whatever, im drining my coffee and i hear a rattle and then my window shades started rattling!!!! i screamed and ran into the bathroom to get a mop and came back in my room and started swatting at the shades. im too afraid to open the shades and touch the pillows. what if something is living inside the pillows or jumps at at me? it’s probably a squirrel or something right? i dont want the squirrel coming in cuz if it runs around my room it might attack and bite me and i had a rabies scare that time when duke bit me (and i didnt realize he wasnt up to date with rabies shots) and i dont want to go thru that again. should i call animal control?
rob, you’re going to have to use a piece of wood or plexiglass to fill that void. Hopefully the squirrels are not already nesting in it.
You never told us that Duke bit you.
Will look for it Cobble.

“It’s a pretty good assumption that you will be in a lower bracket once you retire.”
But I already feel so poor now!
Expert, I’m emailing you a note about my experience the trad. IRA account I set up and how/why I have used it only for very specific situations.
TextperV, when in doubt, flip a coin and if it turns out to be wrong, you can later on blame the stupid quarter.
I cant help you cause I only have company 401k
Did anyone else have the hots for the ‘police officer’ from the Village People? just me?
It’s a pretty good assumption that you will be in a lower bracket once you retire. And a much lower one overall if you move out of NYS.
Thanks Dave. I rad a bit about it yesterday. I’m switching over all my finances very soon and just want to make sure I’m doing the right thing.
btw – how do you know what tax bracket you’re in? I never really asked my accountant.
