ET, you need a converter box and a small little anennae for it. it’s very easy. the government last year was giving out 40 dollar welfare vouchers for them, i def. took advantage of that entitlement!!! unfortunately they stopped the program. the boxes themselves run between like 40 and 50 bux (all the brands are basically the same)
snappy, no i agree with you… i like tube tvs because old school video games look much much better on them.
cats and boobs- yawn. Let me know when someone posts a cats and – er- roosters video.
Yes Cgar- but on the bright side, everything I give you will come beautifully wrapped in a glitter filled container. I owe you snappy- the static electricity trick is priceless 🙂
Expert, that question has been asked many times on the forum…and I don’t think anyone has given a simple answer yet 🙂 I think Arkady is still futzing around with hers.
Rob, tube tv isn’t so bad. I wish I had held on to mine until about now and waited to buy a flat screen. What I paid for mine several years ago would cover the cost of a HUGE one. My home theater system is much cheaper now too.
“22” LCD TVs start at $199 at J&R”
And having 300 channels of which 297 are useless is $500/yr.
FYI – I cut my cable. I rarely watch TV but I’d like to watch the news (Fox News) occasionally.
Static electricity and glitter is a deadly combo 🙂
