She starts crying and I let her go on for a little while because I’m trying to get her used to nodding out without being rocked to sleep. It’s torture for me to listen to her howling so I usually cave but this time I swore I’d be strong. I let her go on for a good 15 minutes.

omg. *I* nod out when people share baby stories.. hahahah im just kidding with you THL. 🙂 does she sleep thru the night yet? or does that not happen for a long time?

and snappy, you are doing other peoples shirts?

    *rob*

  2. THL, you’re get similar decisions when both cat and baby is doing destruction in the house at separate areas at the same time (ie cat shredding curtains and baby knocking over vases)

  3. When I finally break down and go in I pick her up and her back is wet I’m thinking she’s a little sweaty because she’s worked herself into a minor frenzy crying.

I lay her on the bed while I fold and put away laundry.

I then go to pick her up again and I notice the bed is yellow. Yup, that wasn’t sweaty back that was crappy back.

The poor little thing had pooped up her back and here is her mean old mom trying to get her to soothe herself to sleep. Meanwhile she’s screaming at me to fix it all the while probably thinking what a moron her mother is.
