  1. Renters have no idea how much time and effort we landlords spend on our sidewalks.

I’m up in Albany today visiting family so I won’t be able to check in constantly. Please enjoy this one day that will be somewhat DIBS free. Try and keep the conversation civil, intellectual and on-topic.

i personally dont think people should have to shovel in front of their houses… even tho ive slipped many times. why do you have to shovel the sidewalk if you can’t paint it? hmm? hypocritical if you ask me.

the first time i slipped in park slope (well totally fell and busted up BOTH knees cuz i was dumb and tried to hold my bags so they wouldnt break instead of breaking my own fall) was on union in front of this one house (i think i posted about it a while back…) it was the only time someone helped. first three kids were like oh are you okay!!!??! i was like yeah. i felt totally embarrassed but whatever. then this guy saw me and said he has seen people slip in the same spot! he said one old lady broke her ankle. i wasnt sure if he was being for real or not, but i guess he was cuz he went into the house right next to it. that was tripping actually not slipping. i tripped over some mis alligned concrete.

personally i dont care, im just a super clumsy person to begin with and cuts, scrapes, bruises, and hemotomas define my life.
