In a way, I wanted that Michael Steele story to be true. I was looking forward to the shrill cries of indignation….from the same crowd who defend Bill Clinton’s escapades in the White House. Would have been fun.
Off to Chippewa Falls, Wisconisn today. These past 4 weeks have been one long slog for me.
it was the not noticing until the 3rd time that day putting on that struck me. Not that I did it 1st time.
The umbrella people that need to stop on subway station steps and open the umbrella while everyone waiting–when there is barely a drizzle that gets me. And the people with the 1st drop of rain and it goes up. I’ve heard of acid rain but I don’t think it burns that much.
I don’t use an umbrella normally, even tho I’m tall enuf to keep it way over your heads. haha. I go from place to place so for sure I’d leave it. I just wear a raincoat with a hood. Wind doesn’t bother it either.
my friend kristy is married to a guy from turkey and went to istanbul twice. she said it was an amazing place but there are WAY to many people and that every area feels like times square. she also said the B.O. was outta control!
JB, I don’t want to go Istanbul this year, but if you feel like meeting for drinks in Sofia, Bulgaria, I’m up for that since I was considering an overnight there.

For the record, if the guidance counselor says your child “seems to be aiming for belgium,” it isn’t good.
