  1. Well, if you haven’t listened to your stuff for a while – you’ll be surprised how much you’ll enjoy it.

Hmmm…just one song. Okay. Across 110th Street – Bobby Womack. That’s good driving music.

    M4L – just talking cigarettes.

  2. jackal,

Watch out for Oberlin and Ann Arbor as I-80/I-90 pit stops on your way towards Chicago. Your kind just ain’t welcome there. 😉

However, if your musical taste runs at all in the alt direction, you can surf the frequencies below 92 (dare I say the left end of the FM dial) pretty successfully through much of northern Ohio, at least from Kent to Sandusky.

  3. “Don’t do books, Jackal. Just listen to some music.”

I’m completely out of touch. My CD collection is like a time capsule from 1994. Maybe I should collect a bunch of groovy stuff from my cooler friends and take it all with me on the trip.

  4. I just checked it out online and I can get Sarah Palin’s book on tape (read by Sarah Palin) and a full set of all of Ann Coulter’s best sellers (read by Ann Coulter) for $19.95. And the best part is that all of the profits from the sale are donated to the NRA!

  5. The car I’m driving has an I-pod docking station. I’m thinking of loading some books on tape on my ipod. Flyover land has really shitty radio for hundreds of miles at a time so I have to be prepared.

  6. Mt. Rushmore is really cool. Check out the Badlands, too, if you have time. Yeah, just smoke for the week, why not? You have your tunes picked out?
