Thanks Denton, I didn’t get it yet. Price sounds about right: Champette-in-law said she thought she could get around $600 and she’s in Canada where electronics usually cost more than here.
Kens – Go down to San Diego on Saturday. See if you can get the Zoo to set up a branch in Brooklyn for the PLUSA menagerie – goats, ponies, cats, jackals, bedbugs, dogs, chickens, etc.

Unlike desktops, most laptops are built by a few factories in Taiwan and China, so it’s hard to say which companies are better or worse. In laptops, they’re pretty much the same.
