  1. DH, you just get away with so much shit it’s amazing. Do people think you’re like their kid or something? When other people say shit they get pounced; when you do it, nada. Maybe they just treat you like a victim of Internet tourette’s?

  3. THL, any cook worth his or her salt knows that ALL the drippings go into the sauce.

    A week ago i saw Alex Guarnischelli (sp?) fry up some bacon for a salad. She made the salad dressing out of the bacon fat!!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t wait to try it.

  4. I just ate half a bar of white chocolate. I’m rapidly faklling into a comotse state. I can’t kkep my eyes open.

  5. I heard that too Gem but I get annoyed that there is a “flat side”. I don’t use too much oil when I fry them because they quickly start to release their own fat and after I cook all the meatballs I deglaze the pan with some red wine and (brace yourself) dump everything into the sauce. I KNOW! It’s more fattening but it just flavors it SO good!

    I get your point re: Rob but think you’re driving yourself crazy in the end (no homo) constantly being an apologist for him. He can fight his own battles.
