I’m trying to find a newspaper headline (say from the New York Times) for a given day in the past. Does anyone know how to do this? I’ve tried Googling it quite a bit, but only find websites that give notable events on certain days, but nothing that gives actual newspaper headlines by day.
I use a converter box and amplified antenna. Get 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 25 and a few misc. extra channels (weather extra on 4 and sports extra on 7 or the other way around) and a bunch of Spanish channels. Also a 24-hour-a-day PBS (13) channel for kids. Much better picture quality than before. If you have a new TV, you don’t need the converter box. You could buy the equipment and unpack carefully and return it if it doesn’t work. I got most of my stuff from Target.
I live in southeastern Bed-Stuy. My daughter’s room faces west and she gets better reception than mine which faces east. We’re on the floor above the parlor floor.
“Chicken, did you see how Directv and Dish Network hopped all over that Fox thing? They immediately put out commercials saying “If you want to continue seeing the Fox channel, switch to us!” LOL

No but every other advert on the radio (which I have permanently on next to my desk) was for “Call Time Warner and tell then No Fox, No Way!”
I didn’t like Fox but that advert made me hate them.

kens,
when is that show running? I love The Whitney, it’s worth paying just to see the Edward Hoppers and the Wyeths again.
Good Morning all and Happy New Year!
