  1. Does Apple still block their AAC protected songs from being played on non-Ipods (meaning other brands of mp3 players)? It was like that for the longest time. Sneaky way of forcing you to buy an Ipod. Of course you can get around that too buy first burning a cd of the music and then loading the songs onto the mp3 player using the cd instead of going directly through Itunes, but it’s a pain in the ass.

  2. “chicken – i dislike apple too. refuse to set foot in any apple store.

Let me know when you get a non-Apple music player then and I’ll help you set it up.

  3. Cobble, will you run 2 errands with me tomorrow, please? Expert Center and D’Amico. I’ve been afraid to set foot in Expert Center since June 2006 when I had a HUGE fight with the owner (and you people all think I’m so nice), and I want to get that coffee that BH recommended. You can pretend they’re your made-up errands! Then we can grab a cup of coffee at BoCoCa’s on Court, my treat!

  4. “DH, I rarely buy the whole albums unless it’s a soundtrack that I really love. Speaking of whole albums, have you noticed that they now have a ton of songs that you can’t buy individually and *must* buy the whole album”

I fuckin hate that snappy – i refuse to buy a whole album of crap i don’t like for one song.

I have the full juno album (on CD) – i’ll bring it next time we chill

Also – probably the best soundtrack ever is the “Almost Famous” one – sooo good!!

  5. “On the way back from Ireland, a classmate had her bags pulled apart. Some dolt of a man removed all the tampons she had from the Tampax box and inspected (felt up, squeezed, sniffed) every single one of them. She was somewhere between horrified and hopping mad. The rest of us just stood back and thanked God it wasn’t us!”

Nobody laughed at a dude sniffin’ tampons?
