i would!!! remember when i told you guys how i got searched on THREE Seperate occassions at the police desk set up at the 125th street station? THREE seperate times i was searched!!! picked out randomly. they let everyone else go thru but they always felt the need to search my bag!!! wtf! i honestly never saw anyone else get searched there that entire week it was set up. three times in one week!!! lol
i was tempted to fill my bag up with f’ed up sh-t after that last time!!! grrr

Funny thing is, I like my beach hair. I think it looks better with salt and sand in it (I just pretend in my delusional head I’m in the pages of The Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue).
I’m more adverse to the humidity thing after getting all dolled up at night for dinner/dancing only to have my face melt off and sweat marks on my clothing by the time I get in the cab to go to the venue at night.
Cabo is my fav. place since it’s in the desert. It’s really hot but dry and then at night it cools down into the low 80’s. That’s heaven in my book.
winthropst, I have a hard time picturing someone mistaking you for a woman.

Anyhoooo I am out to grab lunch with a friend and do some shopping in Century21 and other places.
Should be back on tomorrow or possibly to the late OT edition of today.
Snappy, what about just slicking the hair back and pinning/clipping it close to scalp. That’s what I do at the beach. To hell with styling!

Winthropst, that won’t work! First off, black women go NOWHERE without a mirror! Second, we always worry about our hair 🙂
THL and snappy – one of the best hair tricks in regards to beach vacations is to go somewhere so “rustic” that it’s lacking in mirrors, so chill that no one has the energy to take photos and where everyone is drunk on booze and/or sunshine that no one focuses on your hair…
