  1. ‘…besides, who wants to see Hillary Clinton, Madeline Albright or Condaleeza Rice on a video titled “secretary of state’s gone wild”

Throw Martha Stewart in there and I’d watch it.

  2. Just catching and dropping by for a moment.

Welcome back wasder. We missed you.

DIBS & wasder, re 12/Pine, my mother in law lived on Quince right off Pine for many years. A long time ago. Nice area. Wasder, if you are ever down that way with the wasder clan, take the little wasders to the magic gardens. Dibs rightly called it a monument to OCD, but a pretty bizarre and magical place for kids (a half a block, indoor/outdoor psychedelic mosaic installation).

    blowfish — how sweet, thanks.

    where is benson, anyway?

    have a good weekend, all.

  3. Arkady- I have a maxtor external- I’ve always liked them, and when i blew the motherboard on my other desktop, I took the hard drives out and popped them into an external drive case so I access them as an external usb drive now. No lost data, no hours of file transfer. Etson- they make external hard drive cases for laptop drives too.

hey i got straight A’s all throughout school… i know youre talking about the bell curve intelligence tho… i often wonder where i fit in that. who cares tho really cuz the older you get the dumber you get anyway. some people go dumb faster than others but we still all go dumb. people who try their hardest to hide that or slow it down are just as vain and shallow as people who go to botox parties and spend thousands on plastic surgery. yes i said it. caring about world politics is basically the intellectual version of a botox party.

  5. and there is nothing wrong with that. you believe in equality right? so do i. so i think lil slu++y amber from bumbleweeds texas who takes camera pics of her b00bs is just as important as the secretary of state (whoever that is lol) and has as much right to be in the media as well.

lol, yeah, but at some point, you reach a sort of critical mass of idiocy and that’s not good either.
not only does it leave the field open to all sorts of poseurs without originality jumping on the bandwagon, but it leaves the rest of society without suckers to do the everyday work.

  6. Take the bell curve of intelligence. Anyone Below a “B” is not going to be interested in world event, just what’s on the cover of The Post…that’s >50% of the population.

but today with the explosion of media outlets via internet, cable, twitter and what not, you have the effect of every yutz with ears, jockeying for an audition or a position in some program of the week.
