  1. Is anyone else a fan of dark chocolate?

My local supermarket (Asda – owned by Walmart) has a budget brand that works out to 50 cents for a 100g bar of 50% cocoa solid – and it’s delish!

  2. Opening a full coffee cup over your lap is just silly. You know there’s a good chance you could spill it. Which is exactly what happened.

Heck, I’ve really burned my mouth badly on super hot coffee. More than once. I’ve never sued over it.

  3. winthropst, its basically fusion crap with Manhattan prices in Ditmas Park. I found it a bit overpriced and not anything special or ethnic. It wasn’t horrible by any means but in my opinion, just not worth a trip back.

I drive so I am willing to volunteer to pick up a couple of pies from Difara but I think charging $5 bucks a slice is just plain ol’ crazy. We have other food options so I am willing to pick up some good food and bring it over to Sycamore whenever we decide to do this.

  4. Oh okay – I assumed since CGar suggested you get your licence with us. You rode back in the motherland?

I came here when I was 11 so no riding in motherland lol. I took lessons here and rode a friend’s bike a few times but very briefly. I never got my license though so CGar is correct on that one (Just a motorcycle permit).

  5. Pete, that site left out the important fact that she sat in the coffee soaked pants for 90 seconds instead of immediately stripping them off so as to prevent further injury. Old, young, whatever, that’s just asinine.

  6. kens – i went to cendrillon once in the city. same owners as purple yam. really hated it but this time i’ll expect less home-cooking and more fusion crap. i like mimmi’s but it’s too small for a group. farm on adderley is my fave and they will walk over the food to sycamore on real plates with silverware/napkins to eat at the bar. or carservice over a couple of pizzas from difara?!
