Etson, yes, many people in the black community celebrate Kwanzaa. It is actually my preferred holiday of choice – I hate X-mas. My brother celebrates Kwanzaa with his two kids because he says, and I quote, “I’ll be damned if I bust my ass working to make some money and have my *black* children believe that some fat ass *white* man brought them the toys I worked to afford and spent days in the store fighting to get!”
