“CarGar – I have some rare LPs of xmas music – Swingle Singers, Music Boxes – if you want to transfer them.”
Thanks, Arkady!
“LOL that offically might be the gayest thing i have EVER heard hahahahah”
Your standards are pretty low, *rob*, and if that’s the gayest thing I’ve EVER said, then I guess I’m pretty straight. Show tunes, sure, but Christmas music? I don’t think so.
Expert, I know, but I sympathize with him. It was only when I started driving with kids in the back of the car that I learned to control my own road rage.
“cuts off the car that cut us off”
“that showed him eh?”

Yep, I told Partner that he was now the bigger man. A big fat D*ck!
When he does sh*t like that I go into a screaming rage. I just don’t understand why he or anyone would jeopardize our/their lives for some nonsense. You’re going to get to your destination eventually, albeit 2 minutes later.
Heather- there’s stuff on Franklin. North there’s Sweet Revenge (bar) and Heavenly Crumbs (bakery). South I think there opening some 24-hr Italian/Carribean/Organic diner, no? Then North West on Fulton there’s few things; Outpost, Desserts by Michael Allen, a vet, Brown Betty. Also if you do a Crown Heights neihborhood serach, using the drop-down in the homepage header of Brownstoner, can can cull through Mr. B’s CH posts, see what’s happening.
Thanks Montrose, that’s exactly the info I was looking for. And yes, the intake shelter may be a deal-breaker. I wasn’t that fussed about it until one of them called me a white bitch yesterday. I must have reached a new stage of maturity because I did not go off on him. Still, it would be culture shockish to go from our part of Fort Greene to that… a bit.
Does Tacos Muertes (I may have the name wrong) deliver to there? What about Fresh Direct?
General shopping does look great. Twee shopping less so.
I didn’t realize the city kicked all those men out… figured they were just standing around because they wanted to. I do now understand why the neighborhood was so opposed to having more homeless dumped on their doorstep however.

Bob Dylan has a Christmas album out now.

Oh, please…you should check your own back seat!

“Liza Manelli”

I like Mannheim Steamroller’s early xmas album.
