ENY, anyone who loves Heat Miser and Snow Miser AND the Yankees really MUST come drinking at Bell House on December 3rd! Do you recall who plays the voice of Mrs. Claus in that cartoon? I’ll give you a hint: Hazel.
I’m partial to Duke Ellington’s take on the Nutcracker, and, of course, having seen the big man in a Santa suit back in the late 70s, I can’t help but smile when the Boss’s take on Santa Clause Is Coming to Town comes on the radio, even though it is way overplayed. Meanwhile, I can’t take Christmas music until I’ve heard Alice’s Restaurant at least ocne around Thanksgiving.
P.S. I hear Christmas carols were invented in China in 1000 B.C.
Good ones guys!!!
Frank Sinatra said he respected David Bowie as an artist.
“I suppose The Little Drummer boy by Bing Crosby and David Bowie is high up on your list of xmas favourites?”
That cardigan is high on my list.
“Especially Ringo (the Beatle Days, not now)….what can I say, he’s a drummer.”
