as many analysts have said, don’t get too happy over the off year elections- they’re local and focused on local issues. The GOP would be fools to think this means they are taking back anything. More interesting was the Hoffman loss upstate. Since the polls show a majority of this country wants healthcare reform, still think Obama will do a better job than McCain would have and a piddling 20% define themselves as Republicans, dancing on the graves of the Democrats is way too premature. In fact the GOP is going to have a good time of eating its own young when they start driving out the moderates in their own party. Yessssssss!!!
Thanks chicken and CarrollGardened. I mean, you both know I can hold my own with the arguing, but the fact that Minard has pleaded with Mr. B to have me banned?
That part seems totally nuts to me.
I’m assuming Mr. B agrees or else he would have banned me, but the fact that someone would go and write emails to him specifically to have someone he/she doesn’t agree with banned, does not bode well for their character.
Now if someone is saying racist things, sure. Ban them.
I’m warming up to the thought of baking something today. I usually just use my toaster oven for baking things but perhaps I’ll go hog wild and use some natural gas and turn on the oven today. Any good ideas on what I could bake?

Pete: First of all, men run warmer than women. So just because you aren’t cold, doesn’t mean it’s not chilly. We’re paying for heat, I want heat. I don’t need it to be 75 degrees all day, but a blast in the morning and again in the evening would be nice. And my sex life is just fine, thanks, or haven’t you been reading the OT for the past day or so? : P

The umborn (sic)…the unborn are those employees not yet hired…new employees, down the road.
All this government “salary grade” crap should go out the window. You hire people for what you think they are worth in the given market.
