Joe- I think a lot of us are worrying about that now. But at least I will have a lovely striped, dagged edged, medieval tent with the family crest painted on it. I just have to find out what the family crest might be- probably a rampant matzo ball on a field of beet red and off white. Little gold OYs in the background.
Before I head off to the vet and the polls, I’d like to make one last plea for your votes. Remember, under a Snappy Administration the following will come to fruition:
MAYOR SNAPPY’S 10 POINT PLAN
1. A free oz or two of weed each month for my tokers
2. Lower ciggie prices for my smokers (hey, I’m a poet and didn’t know it!)
3. Rent Control/Stabilization abolished unless you are already under it and are elderly/disabled
4. Smacking the ever-loving shit outta new NYC renters willing to pay/thinking it’s acceptable to pay 4k for a studio with no sink in the bathroom.
5. Recessed lighting shall be no reason for shame!
6. 80’s track lighting is a no-no!
7. Free tuna for all kitties!
8. A cat in every home, a litter box in every bathroom.
9. En suite baths for all! (except Rob)
10. MEATBALLS FOR EVERYONE!
Honestly, having wet dreams about houses most of us will never be able to afford is fine but I do wonder if the consequences of this country’s de-industrialization will result in “tent living” for more than a few of us in the not-too-distant future. Maybe we should apply for public housing now?!

Do you believe someone posted saying the house is “nice”, but not spectacular?
C Gar- silly man! I only want what’s best for us.I get C Gar dog as part of our pre-nup, right? But it wouldn’t be home without you (where is that freeze dry your man brochure??)
Arkady- my cats have always been very good about accepting strange cats into the fold. (Unfortunately for me), so they’ll get along fine. But we’ll have to be extra vigilant about Montrose in the garage. She’s a sucker for 4 legs and body hair 🙂
