Actually, the Borough Presidents do have some powers still. They used to have alot more before the Charter Revisions of a few years ago.
Their residual power lies in the field of capital expenditures. They are an approval step in the ULURP (Land review process) and they also have a say on how capital expenditures for things like parks and streetlamps are spent in their borough.
Speaking of gay Jews, anyone see the documentary “Trembling Before G-d”? Excellent. If anyone wants to see it I can loan you my dvd.
Used cars are cheap and getting cheaper. Insurance is expensive and getting more so. Of course you don’t need it if all you plan to do is drive around in circles in your backyard.
