  1. OMG, Benson! Another point of agreement! Your 11:47.
    Lily T campaigns vociferously for gay rights.
    When he moved to Maine, my bf sold his ’84 VW Vanagon to a neighbor for a dollar. It still runs.

  2. M4l;

    We think alike. Anyone who thinks they are saving a few pennies on insurance by registering out of state is taking a big roll of the dice. Heaven forbid you get into a big accident, with serious claims. You are giving the insurance company a reason to not cover you, and they WILL investigate the circumstances in a big accident.

  3. driving around with non-NYC plates when you live here is pure dumb dumb. one time a buddy got into an accident with a dude with PA plates and the dude was talking smack. I gave my buddy advice of telling the dude we’ll see you in court and see if your bs coverage holds up when my lawyer asks for your tax return to prove you’re a PA resident. My buddy calls me back that the dude offer to drop everything and that he’ll fix his car on his own dime.

  4. I emailed Marty once about his parking and he did respond. I was surprised. I forgot the excuse but it was lame.

    The out-of-state plates don’t bother me. I figure that when they make claims it raises the rates for that area not ours.
    Now if they were all safe drivers and never made claims then would want them in our pool but otherwise glad they insure elsewhere.
