I would try to leave it alone for a solid week, it kinda depends on how big the flower is. A bigger flower could take a couple weeks! Wax paper is good, did you put a layer of paper towel in there too? It will help absorb the moisture and wick it away from the flower.
Kens, my english name which you know me by was given to me via my childhood italian friends. They gave 3 or 4 suggestions and I went with the least italian sounding one – didn’t want kids to joke with me “so you think you’re italian huh?”

It sounds pretty Italian to me. Could only be worse if it were “Tony.”
Hey, Cobble…another flower pressing question for you…
Yesterday I placed the rose between sheets of waxed paper and placed it in a heavy book with a bunch more heavy books on top. How will I know when the flower is fully dried out? Will the petals change color/fade? Will they just be hardened? I just peeked at it and it is already flat, but I’m wondering how to tell when the drying process is complete.
M4L, how come you don’t use your Chinese name or it depends to whom you introduce yourself? Do they call you your English given name (that I know you by) at work or your Chinese name?

“Stop it Biff.”
Sorry Kens, I was totally joking. Arkady, we know Kens is an awesome guy and always means well. I’m certain he didn’t mean to offend.

Badda Bing. no disrespect, benson. no homo
I have a pressing flower question:
I’ve heard one the best tulips come from hamster jam. Where can I get some?
Anyone wanna fess up and tell us the most embarassing nickname their family has ever given them? 🙂
Stop it Biff.
It was meant as a joke and if I pushed the envelope on that one, I am very sorry. Arkady, please accept my apologies.
