Bxgrl- It’s more along the lines of not thinking. I’m an ADD poster child these days. I retain a thought for 10 minutes tops. Then if it’s not completed or written down it’s gone into the ether.
“It will be even funnier when Shane goes 3 for 5 tomorrow and scores the game winning run.”
Yeah, he’s going to get three hits off of CC. Not!
“I think Yankees fans have officially crossed the line from “confident” to “so completely over confident that the look of despair and confusion on their faces if they lose will be much more funny than touching”.
The collective countenance of the Philadelphia fan base, post-Series loss, will be neither funny nor touching. It will be ugly. And then the blame cycle will begin.
“I think today’s NYP cover is their funniest ever. Ya gotta admit, sometimes their brand of journalism is just laugh-out-loud funny.”
No question, Benson. They are the absolute best at headlines and covers. I remember when years ago when the Post covered complaints from housing complex’ residents about noisy ice-cream trucks. In the article, Tom Carvel told Mayor Bloomberg he would take care of it.
The headline? “Mr. Softee Pledges Cones of Silence.”

LOL, fair enough CGar!
Faithful! Good to have you back.
Agree, ENY. It’s a shame about the rest of the newspaper though.
Ignore away, THL. I won’t even correct you. (Though I might make a crude comment today if you awaken from a nap surrounded by pussies.)
faithful- welcome back!! Mm and I wondered where you’ve been.
