  1. Ostrich, though a bird, is red meat. Not sure what the technical biological differences are to the muscle cells though.

    Ostrich meat is great and INCREDIBLY healthy but it’s like filet mignon, largely tasteless and needs a strong sauce.

  2. Nope. No one else. The few people that have been studied don’t show a genetic link either. I’m hoping this kid doesn’t come out with the allergy. I’m thinking it won’t but it’d be a shame. It’s hard for kids to know what foods could be hiding it. The last thing that tripped me up was paella. Should have been fish stock right? Nope.

  3. I haven’t tried ostrich but I’ve tried so many other birds and the reaction is so severe that I’m not willing to keep trying things anymore.

    Eggs oddly I’m fine with unless I eat way too many and then I get a tightness in my chest but not a full reaction.

    I found out one holiday when I got WAY drunk and did a serious number on the leftover deviled eggs. Not good!

  4. Dave when I used to travel in on the PATH to go downtown to work there was this one guy that was absolutely incredible looking. His eyes were like a light red/brown they seemed to glow. His bone structure was out of this world model handsome too. I’d have to try so hard not to stare at him.

    I would venture to guess that he plays for your team.
