I enjoyed the Bed Stuy House tour, as well. I knew one of the homeowners, and it was good to see her and her family, whom I haven’t seen in years. She did some amazing work in her house since the last time I saw it. I thought it was interesting that so many of the houses are out past Stuyvesant on blocks that even 3 years ago on this blog were automatically written off as being in the hinterland. Most of the houses this year were in Stuyvesant Heights and beyond. It was a nice long walk on a chilly day. Kudos to the Brownstoners of Bed Stuy for another good tour. 31 years is a long time, so it’s a good thing Bed Stuy is so huge. There were some repeats, and also some interesting new places.

Rob would be about as succesful as a pimp as I’d be as a ho.
