We’ve known each other long enough to like each other, and now we’ve known each other to occasionally get on each other’s nerves. Natural development that doesn’t necessarily bode ill.
Hey, Crescent Hill, where you been! Your story reminds me of my grandfather – he was the same way. Also reminds me that there’s nothing like a BLT, with lots of Hellman’s, on toasted Wonder Bread.
I actually didn’t know it until I was driving in Englewood a year or so ago and passed by the bakery and was like WTF is Balthazars doing in such remote location then I learned that they do all their baking there and then deliver to the city locations and whomever orders their stuff. Looks like the have an onsite retail location so maybe you can pick up some yummy stuff there. Or maybe you can call and they can tell you if they deliver their breads to some locations in Jersey City. Their stuff is oh so good. The cranberries, raisin, walnut bread is to die for.
g’bye folks. Time for that long walk home. maybe I’ll check later this evening to see who the last one standing was.
