THL, I don’t think we can be sure who it was without real proof. Not when somebody wants to login on a sockpuppet because they might want to hurt the person they are pretending to be. You never know.
I’m not sure who it was I know everybody here, most of the people we are now talking about in person.
Arkady, to be honest I didn’t read much of the postage discussion. In the past though, we would throw jabs at virtually anything anyone brought up here and it would just all be in fun. This week though, after “the problem” anything anyone says gets misconstrued into hate and one side vs. the other.
That would not have happened before. i could have called each and everyone of you a jackass (for whatever stupid reason) and meant it before all this and it would have been forgotten 20 minutes later by both of us. Now, it is different and that’s sad.
11217- think for a lot of us who have met outside the blog, its really both. When you’ve eaten out or been to someone’s house or just hung out together, it blurs the lines. I think most of us never expected to be friends with one another offline and I always thought it was one of the wonderful things about b’stoner. especially when there is someone you battle with online and then meet them and find you can be friends (benson? You there :-)?
What on earth could someone take issue with about a postage query? Not to roil the waters but that seems strange. It’s not as if there can be much difference of opinion about postage.
And, i can’t imagine all of us not having a good time Oct 15, just as we always did in the past. If there was some problem at pacifico i was blind to it.
