CG_ups, what did you eat at Char 44? I think I made the mistake of not having a proper dinner there and eating some mediocre breakfast instead. Seems like their dinner menu gets much better reviews.

Any list that claims Belleville is a good place automatically loses my respect.
I’ve been to most of them – the ones I’ve been to i’ve liked – cept Egg.
THL, it was yummy. Miso soup, some dumplings, spicy tuna rolls, beef teriyaki (which was way better than I expected), salad, rice. Sure beats fasting…

DH, have you eaten at any of those. I went to Char 44 for brunch and was not impressed. However, they allegedly have a fantastic whiskey selection.
