IJ- I guess I was just reacting to hsi anti-landmarking stance. It seems so at odds with a blog called “brownstoner.” Landmarking is about protecting them. Brownstoner has grown by leaps and bounds and it isn’t just about loving old houses anymore, I realize. But it got its beginning in the love of browstones and protecting them. On the other hand if benson weren’t here life could get pretty bland.(no- I don’t love you benson- get OFF of me!!! I have cats and I’m not afraid to use them!)
