  1. OK, how is it that just as I get out of work and go meet up with you all you are all leaving? Loooosers. CGar took pity on me and joined me for a nightcap at clover club and brekkie at the diner (not the one on the corner of atlantic; closer to Ceol). Kens was there for a bit at clover club as well. Thanks to Kens and CGar. To the rest of you: harrumph.

  2. bodhi, it was really nice meeting you. I hope you haven’t been scared off from attending future soirées. Not sure how it happened, but thankfully we’ve gone from me being the only PLUSA from Brooklyn Heights at the ‘Stoner Galas to having you, Jessi, Bitter, Beoch and Pork Slap attend the events. We’re totally representing.

  3. Ok…read the thread. I don’t think that being a member of the so-called elite necessarily makes one elitist, however it’s a conclusion-jump many are likely to make. Those arguments that tennis are for the elite is bull puckey. The fact that the city charges $100 for a tennis playing permit is crappy, but that does not automatically change tennis into an elite sport. Related question: Does anyone from the parks dept. actually roam around those courts and demand to see your permit to play there and kick you out if you can’t produce one?
