the cashier had no idea how to process the payment. it seroiusly took 4 people + the manager to figure out how to run the check. Comical. Sometimes the express line ISN’T so express
For the record, I think she’s the nut job. Perhaps politically savvy, TO A DEGREE, but still a nutjob and if anyone think’s she’d get close to being President then they too are nutjobs.
McCain wasn’t going to win but she was the icing on that cake. My, god, tht has to be up there as the WORST political decision in history. Yes, it ralleid a small segent of the population towards them but still, laughable if it weren’t such a horror show.
Arkady – I seem to recall leaving some sort of plastic behind the bar (maybe my driver’s license?) and running a tab, but I usually have my swerve on by the time I leave the Inn so I wouldn’t swear to it. Any chance you can make it out next Thursday?
Well I guess it’s time to declare the AL East race over. Yanks win. Nevertheless, this being the greatest single franchise in the history of baseball, the goal remains a World Series. We haven’t done anything yet.
That said, the Yanks will likely have their toughest test winning the AL pennant. Beating up on the National League team (for example the Phillies – if they make it) in the Series will be a mere afterthought.
