what a relief. i gently told him that he might want to go with something simpler but i still felt terribly guilty about it. but no woman should have to suffer that ring. thanks for the diamond district suggestion, that is great! 🙂
CG…my landlord is a diamond dealer. I don’t know for sure if he sells rings or just does wholesale diamond sales, but if your friend is interested, I can ask.
thanks snappy. some of those are quite nice! and the same price. thank goodness the poor soul asked me for advice before purchasing that horrifying thing. oy!
DEFINTELY do not let your friend spend $6K on a fake diamond. This place in the diamond district is very reliable/honest and has good prices and quality. http://www.zolands.com Your friend should go in with a budget and let them show him what he can get for that amt.
“Biff…about this Adrian Grenier thing – when you passed him on the stairs did he look you dead in the eyes and say, “It’s just like I’m looking in the mirror.”?”
1) Reading Comprehension 101 people – it was in the elevator!
2) No, but that did happen one time when I ran into Quasimodo at Disney World.
“but no woman should have to suffer that ring”
And the ladies of the OT say ‘AMEN!’
Biff, it was in the elevator…then you are both lazy.
And here’s another diamond resource – http://www.bluenile.com/engagement-rings/?rf=pd
