DH – My cocktail snobbery pretty much starts and stops with clover club. My manhattan drinking consists of the endless series of cocktail parties and clients drinks and recruiting dinners that get filtered through work.
bxgrl – No, I just have a policy of of not doing things that wouldn’t be comfortable telling her about. I don’t report every detail of every night I have ever had out, but just for example I wouldn’t go to a strip club with friends (which happens on occasion) unless I was perfectly willing to say, when asked, that I had gone to a strip club. Of course it’s fine to go out with the brownstoners if there are a couple of attractive ones there. But it’s slightly easier – and the married guys can back me up here – if you can go home and report that it was a sausagefest.
Excuse me- is there no Secretary of Visual Communications and Headwear?????????
