It’s still no excuse, we live in America not Russia so my English should definitely be substantially better. Reading and posting here has helped me greatly, beleive it or not.

Kens…there’s a pretty simple rule of thumb…if the noun is singular, the verb usually ends in “s.” It works most of the time.
The Chinawoman was correct, nitpicky, but correct.
WonTon, thanks. I have a very bad knowledge of grammar rules since I came here at 11 and pretty much learned English from watching lots of TV. I have never taken any grammar classes so I pretty much write/type what sounds right to me.
Knowing these things does help me out.
