How can you be here and not know what a PLUSA is???
OK, first – I have no idea what a PLUSA is – please translate.
WonTon – Kashgar is the restaurant you are probably thinking of – it has really gone downhill, and I have stopped going. Uighur food (why is everybody pronouncing it “wigger” all of a sudden?) can be had in Rego Park, other parts of Queens – check out Chowhound.

Kensi – I have an 8 mo old daugter – it’s hard to make any plans outside the house, but thank you so much for the invite! My partner (he is from Kharkov) would kill me if he saw me typing this (he lurks on the forum from time to time). Just in case, where in W’burg and when? (we get a date night once in a while b/c in-laws take the little one for the eve).

bxgrl, if you think smoke from someone walking BEHIND you can damage your lungs, they’re in pretty bad shape. Consider all that car exhaust, restaurant grill smoke and rotting garbage around you. Anyone who worries about this not live in an urban area.
CMU, chill my man. go have a smoke. I was making reference to 2nd hand smoke PERIOD. nothing about it in public or in closed qtrs. This is a free country and I get to speak my piece. BTW, I’ve purposely burped into smokers’ faces when they’re smoking up a storm at a bar. When they complained about my burp, I said it was no worst that the fucking smoke they were blowing into my face
it’s a nerd party, so with that baseline in mind, cuteness is at acceptable levels. equivalent to wburg bar on a sat nite? no. equivalent to a soho lounge? nope. better than the midtown wendy’s on a weekday. yes!
i think that was kazakhstan. and turkmenistan is the one where smoking was banned because the president was trying to quit.
