Ah well, there you go again, cmu.Nuance? I think “poor comparison” is much closer to the mark. The “nuance” you missed is that cigarette smoke is much more intrusive on other people because of the smoke, which does stink. Unless you’re addicted to it. You went after M4L, calling him “self-righteous, among other things. You assumed I said second hand smoke from someone behind me outdoors would hurt my lungs- I had to tell you twice to not put words in my mouth and yet you persist.
Now you also assume I am among the most “rabid anti-smokers” I’m sure you won’t believe me when I say I’m not because as M4L pointed out earlier today, you’re too busy being holier-than-thou all the time. However I even let friends who smoke do so when I have invited them to my home because I don’t want them feeling uncomfortable. However, when I go to a restaurant and pay good money for a dinner, or spend bucks in a bar or have to work in an environment where some people make it difficult for others- you bet I love those anti-smoking laws. If you think that makes you a much better person than me, well so be it. I guess you would tolerate your friends driving drunk or beating their wives too? (Let me know if you get the subtle nuances of that).
