Late to the party here. I may show up this evening on the later side. Just a reminder for you North Brooklyn PLUSAs. G train runs to 4th Ave/9th Street station, not too, too far from Ellis. So don’t let subway access be an impediment. Also, M train stops at Prospect Ave, which is very close.
From midtown, take either the D or the N to Pacific Street. N from 34th is 3 or 4 stops to Pacific. D is 4 or 5 stops. Plus great views going over Manhattan Bridge (you can spit out the window onto Scarano’s office). Change at Pacific for the M/R to Prospect Ave.

It’s a night to celebrate Leo and Virgo birthdays, drink adult beverages (yeah!), and, if you are brave enough, take part in Ellis’ Thursday night karaoke.
We’ve got drink specials, goodie bags for all attendees and a special goodie bag for those who are Leos or Virgos. Does it get any better than this? HECK YEAH! There will be a special prize for the first Brownstoner who is brave enough to sing for us 🙂

To all you lurkers and PLUSAs who are undecided about going to one of these gatherings, please remember that we all had to BEG Snappy to attend her first one because she was so hesitant.
DIBS, the R is one of the better trains in terms of room and getting a seat, but given the amount of stops, try not to drink too much water before boarding unless you’re planning on bringing an empty Coke bottle to pee in.
